Marcy joined the FOX 25 morning team in October 2014.
Marcy was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and it was here at a very early age that she developed an interest in weather, especially severe weather. Marcy knew she wanted to be a broadcast meteorologist even as early as 5 years old.
After living in the heart of tornado alley for about 6 years, Marcy then moved near Dallas, Texas. Marcy attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. While in college, Marcy was an active member of the Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the Texas A&M Storm Chasing Team. Marcy won first place in the National Collegiate Weather Forecasting Contest during her time at Texas A&M.
Before coming to FOX 25, Marcy began her career in 2006 in Abilene, Texas as a meteorologist and reporter. Two years later, she moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, where she spent over two years as a weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter. Marcy then moved to Montgomery, Alabama and worked as a morning and noon meteorologist for over three and a half years.
Marcy has been designated a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society. She was also awarded 'Best Weather Anchor, Television AA Division' in 2013 from the Alabama Associated Press.
When she is not following the weather, Marcy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, a beagle named Ranger and a miniature dachshund named Dixie.
She is an active member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City and she enjoys attending church, getting involved with the community, and meeting new people.
